Volunteering
Volunteer for Bishop Larkin!
BLCS invites volunteers to partner with us to provide our students with a Christ-centered education. We welcome, value and support a well-organized volunteer program. By serving as a BLCS volunteer you will promote a greater bond between school and family; assist our students and staff; keep tuition costs down and receive many untold rewards for your efforts. Children who witness parents giving daily service to the school learn more readily the message of the ministering of Christ.
Each family is required to complete a stipulated number of hours of service to the school as part of their membership in the school community. These hours are offered through the Home and School Association and are a part of the criteria of acceptance and re-registration. Volunteers are asked to keep in mind that BLCS is a professional setting and should dress accordingly.
All volunteers must complete a background check and complete a Diocesan sponsored Safe Environment Training Class and fingerprint check. There are links below for more information.
**PLEASE NOTE: Initial Certification for Safe Environment Training is valid for 5 years. Also, the Level II Background check (Fingerprinting) is valid for 5 years.
