Bishop
Larkin Catholic School opened its doors as West Pasco
Catholic School in August of 1989 on the grounds of St. James the Apostle Parish
in Port Richey. The name changed to Bishop Larkin Catholic School to honor
Bishop Emeritus Thomas Larkin of the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
In 1990, when enrollment doubled, the school moved to St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Hudson where it remained in temporary quarters until 1998. In October of 1998, Bishop Larkin Catholic School dedicated its permanent home in Port Richey.
The school has 18 classrooms, a science lab, art room, music suite, computer lab, media center, clinic and administrative offices.
